Chocolate Cream Pie

For The Crust

2 cup All purpose flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Granulated sugar
2/3 cup Salted butter cold and cut into 5-6 tablespoons of cold water

  1. Place flour into a mixing bowl with the sugar and salt. Add the paddle attachment to your mixer. Give the flour mixture a quick mix.
  2. Slowly add the butter cube by cube, and mix on low until it forms a wet-sand-like consistency. Alternatively if you do not have a mixer, you can make this crust by hand.
  3. Whisk the flour, sugar, and salt, and then use a pastry cutter and cut the butter into the flour mixture.
  4. Add the cold water one tablespoon at a time. Dough is ready when it is firm and not sticky.
  5. Place the pie dough out on a lightly floured surface, and roll to about 1/4-inch thick.
  6. Press the dough into the 9-inch pie pan, trimming the edges as you go.
  7. Blind bake the crust by lining it with parchment paper and filling the crust with pie weighs, dry beans, or rice.
  8. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is slightly golden and cooked through. Allowed it to cool completely before filling.
  9. If making the optional crust cookies, simply roll your remaining dough out, and use a cookie cutter to cut shapes. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and place them on top of your pie for the perfect garnish.

FOR THE FILLING

5.9 oz Box Chocolate Pudding
2.5 cup Whole Milk
2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

FILLING

  1. Place all filling ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Whisk for two minutes, or until the pudding begins to thicken.
  2. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, and allowed to sit completely.
  3. Once the crust is cooled, fill it with the prepared pudding, and place it back in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until fully set.
  4. Just before serving, top with Président® Extra Creamy Whipped Cream (or Original with Madagascar Vanilla), and the optional chocolate curls + crust cookies if desired.

SERVING & STORING

  1. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days, making sure to only pipe whipped cream on the parts of the pie that you plan to consume that day. Top with fresh whipped cream before each serving. Enjoy!

  • 1 cup Dutch processed or whole chocolate milk
  • 1 tbsp 100% Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp sweetened vanilla syrup, more for additional sweetness

HOT CHOCOLATE

  1. Mix chocolate milk + cocoa powder.
  2. Heat milk until desired warmth is achieved, whisking to combine.
  3. Strain to remove any lumps if desired. Pour into mug. Add vanilla and mix.

BLUEBERRY BUTTERMILK PANCAKES

  • 1.5 cup All purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 1/3 cup Buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp Salted Président butter melted
  • 1 cup Fresh blueberries
  • Président® French-Style Gourmet Whipped Cream

BLUEBERRY BUTTERMILK PANCAKES

  1. Place a pancake pan on the stovetop around medium setting, and allows the pan to heat up as you gather your pancake ingredients.
  2. Combine the first seven ingredients and whisk until combined, leaving some lumps. This allows the pancakes to puff up and be nice and fluffy. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  3. Coat your hot pan generously with butter.
  4. Use a 1/2 cup to drop pancake batter onto the pan. Allow the pancake to get nice and golden. You will know it is ready to flip when the batter begins to bubble on top. Flip the pancake and cook for about 30 more seconds before removing to a plate. Repeat until all batter is used up. Makes 5-6 pancakes
  5. Top with Président® French-Style Gourmet Whipped Cream, additional blueberries, and a sprinkling of walnuts if desired. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

  • 1 Medium sized honey-crisp apple
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice Optional
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Blackberries
  • 1/2 cup Protein granola (or granola of choice)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice the apple in small squares and toss with about 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice if desired (This keeps the apples from browning). set aside.
  2. Slice strawberries and add those plus the blackberries to the bowl of apples. Gently toss to combine. Strain any liquid and return to the bowl.
  3. Layer the prepared fruit, the granola, and Président® French-Style Gourmet Whipped Cream in single serve parfait bowls. Makes 2 parfaits. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
